Vinodh Perera is an accomplished Sri Lankan professional cricketer and coach with an extensive career spanning domestic and international leagues.
An explosive right-handed middle-order batter and sharp right-arm medium-fast bowler, Perera has been a mainstay of the Sri Lankan first-class circuit for more than a decade, having made his debut in 2011. Over his career, he has represented prominent clubs including Panadura Sports Club, Kurunegala Youth Sports Club, Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club, and the Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club.
For over eight years, Perera has also built a formidable global reputation as a highly sought-after overseas professional. He has dominated overseas league cricket, most notably in the United Kingdom—where he has delivered standout seasons for clubs like Anston, Potterne, Lutterworth, and Endon, regularly topping both batting and bowling leaderboards.
Currently, Perera has established his base in Nelson, New Zealand, where he continues his playing and coaching career. He serves as the Head Coach and overseas professional for ACOB Prems (Athletic College Old Boys) in the Tasman Premier League, utilizing his UKCC Level 2 coaching credentials to guide senior development and local youth academies while delivering match-winning performances on the field.
